I love California, driving down Highway 101 and
Pacific Coast Highway 1 along the coast and through
the green countryside one day in the fall of 2000.
How wonderful to be out and seeing those majestic
mountains and the coastal towns, the beaches!!!!
The weather was not that typical of California...
IT was cloudy and hazy..but I still love it.
It was still spring all around and a good time
to see all the greeneries, the oak trees, the open
meadows, the ranches with horses, cows, and
so many vineyards...
It was really beautiful this time of the year...
and to me, quite rejuvenating...
On the way back up north, the sun's out bright
and shiny.. It was afternoon..
I took the same route back up north...
Busy LA Freeway leading out to Ventura Highway,
the surfs, and the beaches...
Santa Barbara coastal scenes..
Central Coast and BIG Sur...
Salinas and Stienbeck country.....
